Questions
Can I use this appraisal to get a loan?
No. It's for your personal use. Federal rules require lenders to order their own appraisal.
Will you tell me the value at the inspection?
No. The appraiser develops the value after the inspection and the research. You'll see it in your report.
Do I need to clean or fix things first?
No. Just make sure the appraiser can get into every room, and have the utilities on. A short list of recent updates helps.
